Software upgrade and maintenance
The order of a software product includes an annual software upgrade and maintenance contract. The software product indicated in the order confirmation is subject to maintenance.

Maintenance Services
Software upgrades and maintenance are free during the 1st year. From the 2nd year onwards, there is an annual maintenance fee of 20% of the original licence price.
The yearly costs for software upgrades and support include:
– Support in German and English during regular office hours (08.00 – 17.00 CET)
– Software updates, maintenance and service packs
– software upgrades (releases)
The support contract includes support services which are directly connected with the software. Adjustments which derive from changes in the customer’s IT environment are not included.
Other services, such as installation and configuration of the software or training services can be conclude in a separate support contract.
The software upgrade and support contract is automatically extended by one year and can be cancelled in writing three months before the contract end date.
The contract can be cancelled by either party without naming specific reasons.

Initiation of Support Period of Duration
The duration of the initial maintenance starts with dispatch of the contract-confirmation along with the download-link and the unlock-key for the software. The contract can be cancelled by either party without naming specific reasons.
Availability
FirstAttribute AG does not guarantee the permanent availability of its website, downloads (including updates, instruction-manuals, freeware, etc.), as well as support-systems. The customer is obliged to protect his installation-files and his license keys, as they are prerequisites for any reinstallation.
